Heroes at Highclere 2018

As part of a special event to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War, M&W organised Heroes at Highclere to help raise awareness and funds for the UK Sepsis Trust and honour those who serve and save. The castle and grounds of Highclere Castle (filming location of Downton Abbey) were opened to the public and filled with vintage cars, planes, music, cream teas, and even a football pitch, while the famous Red Arrows lit up the sky.

M&W and UKST staff and volunteers spent the day meeting guests and raising awareness of Sepsis, as well as hosting celebrity football matches and offering visitors the unique experience of an interactive RAF Chinook tour.

Charity Ball 2017

Our first ‘Winter Wonderland’ MW Ball took place in 2017 at the famous ‘Resorts World’  Genting Arena  Birmingham.  From the offset the event became a phenomenal success. With the help of over 500 friends and associates, coupled with the the wit and charm of celebrity compare Paul Ross,  we managed to raise an awesome £74,370 in aid of the UK Sepsis Trust.

In addition, we had the privilege of listening to Mr Tom Ray’s moving real life story about how he and his family had to deal with the horrific aftermath of Sepsis. With Tom’s emotional contribution on stage, we were also able to raise awareness of this terrible illness tremendously…
